Cookie Policy

This policy explains what cookies are, which ones we use, and how you can control them.

Effective 8 August 2026

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device. They let a site remember your actions and preferences — for example that you are signed in — so it works properly and securely. We also use similar technologies such as local storage, and we refer to all of these as “cookies” in this policy.

2. How we use cookies

We use cookies to:

  • keep you signed in and secure your session;
  • protect the Site against fraud and abuse (for example verifying that a request genuinely comes from you);
  • remember basic preferences so the Site behaves as you expect.

3. Types of cookies we use

Strictly necessary cookies.These are required for the Site to function — in particular for authentication and session security when you sign in and access your account. Because the Site cannot work correctly without them, they are set without needing consent, and you cannot switch them off through us.

Functional cookies. These remember choices you make to give you a smoother experience. They are optional.

We do not currently use cookies to serve advertising. If we introduce analytics or advertising cookies in future, we will update this policy and, where required, ask for your consent first.

4. Third-party cookies

Some cookies may be set by the third-party providers we use to run the Service — for example our payment providers (Paystack and Flutterwave) during checkout. Those cookies are governed by the relevant provider’s own cookie and privacy policies.

5. How to control cookies

Most browsers let you view, block and delete cookies through their settings. You can also set your browser to warn you before a cookie is stored. Please note that if you block strictly necessary cookies, parts of the Site — including signing in and accessing your courses — will not work.

6. More information

This policy should be read together with our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle personal data more generally. If you have questions about our use of cookies, contact us at privacy@business-datalabs.com.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date shown above.
